To maintain the health safety of our children and those leading and helping each day, VBS this year will be for the children who currently attend Trinity Sunday School programs. We know our members have grandchildren and other friends/family members who also attend Trinity programs, and want to welcome those children as well.
CONCRETE & CRANES VBS
Look up—way up. That’s where we’re headed. Where I-beams float effortlessly high overhead, carefully guided into place by powerful machinery. Where steel and glass converge in a colossal design that appears to almost touch the sky. These magnificent structures were elaborately designed and intricately built. Yet they all began the same way —with concrete and cranes, rivets and rebar, bulldozers and backhoes; and most importantly, a solid foundation. This summer kids will learn that Jesus’ love will provide a foundation that lasts. Each day kids will make crafts, play fun games, enjoy tasty snacks, sing cool songs, and learn about missions.
This year, we will be hosting a Family Fun Night on Sunday, July 18 from 4:30pm – 6pm, including food and games. Mark your calendars!
This summer’s VBS will be a little different from those held in our past. Our goal is to continue to follow health guidelines that mirror those of our schools, while providing the special Gospel experience that VBS can offer. Members are assembling a schedule keeping health safety foremost while providing a fun experience.
We know that research demonstrates that VBS is a powerful tool to reach into the hearts and souls of children. VBS is centered on Jesus and the message of salvation – it is a content-based experience connecting kids to the Gospel! It is also an incentive to parents to return to in-person worship and back into participation with the Trinity church family.
MORE ON VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School at Trinity is always a blast! This is an opportunity for our congregation to share the good news in a fun and engaged environment. We offer classes from the ages of 3 through completed 6th grade. VBS includes the following activities: morning assembly, Bible lesson, crafts, recreation, and music.
At the end of the week, the children have an opportunity to sing songs they have learned throughout the year, show off their classroom, and join together for a meal with their friends and family.
